Christmas at the Carroll's... xx

Christmas Love and Cheers from the Manly Seabirds xx
Seeing as the silly season is in full swing and the holidays are upon us i thought i would share with you the 2013 Manly Seabirds Secret Santa Christmas Slumber Party pics!! Every year the squad manages to convince Monique to let us take over her home (which we all like to refer to as "Carroll Ranch") to deck the halls for a night of girlie christmassy fun!!

This years theme was "Xmas Pyjama Party" and the costumes were so crazy fun! I knew i wanted to go as a Reindeer so when i found my lush fawn onesie i quickly got about adding all the bells and whistles to make myself the most perfect "PRANCER" at the party haha!!
PRANCER
Plenty of yummy xmas treats were eaten, Secret Santa gifts were extranged and to top the night off we all snuggled in to watch the 2013 Glamazon Victoria Secret Fashion Show - cinema style!!!! Holy. Moly. Those women are ridiculous - such a pack of babe'n thoroughbreds!!

And don't even get me started on my girl Taylor Swift - she is a Christmas Miracle in herself! Someone wrap her up in tinsel and put that little fox on top of a christmas tree!!! stat!

Lots of Love from me to you - stay safe over the holidays and enjoy all the special moments with loved ones!!

Natasha Milne is a special one. It is as simple as that.

I only had to step into a room full of her loved ones to feel in a split second the enormous amount of love, support and true friendships that surround this beautiful soul. It was my first time meeting Natasha – and now - i am lucky enough to be able to stand with those special ones in her life and shake our pom poms together in support of her on her road to recovery!!

The “Cheer for Tash” fundraiser which took place last week was truly an incredible night to be a part of. The generosity of those involved in organising the event was remarkable and it couldn’t have been a more perfect night for everyone to rally together and raise some money to help ease the pressures while Natasha is going through cancer treatment.

The gorgeous Dragons Cheerleaders did a phenomenal job performing throughout the night and as much as I LOVED watching the girls  -  i have to say my absolute favourite moments were watching their choreographer Lisa (who by the way is such a hilarious firecracker) look on with such pride while shaking her tail feather in the wings! I just wanted to push her out onto the stage to watch her kick it with the girls!! Haha

The incredible bonds between the women in the Dragons Squad is undeniable and when you match that with the fact they are SO incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly – it really does make for a special group of women. A group of women who not only their club - but the NRL - should be so proud to have. Natasha is one of those honey bees and she has devoted 12 years of her life so far to the NRL both cheering as well as teaching the junior squad – the next generation of Dragons Cheerleaders – and she couldn’t be a more perfect role model for those young girls to look up to.

So right now I want to pass the Pom Poms to YOU – join the cheer squad – “Cheer for Tash” – and show your love and support to our girl by making a donation (big or small). It would be incredible to see each and every one of us get behind Natasha at this time and for our NRL Community/ Family to help her fight this cancer together!!

You go girl!!! We are all Cheering for you!

Cheering for Natasha.... xx

Tonight the St George Illawarra Cheerleaders would like to extend an invitation to the entire NRL Cheerleading Communtity to lend their love and support to one of their brave cheerleaders who has fallen on tough times.

A beautiful Flame and a part of the Mighty Red V for over 10 years, Natasha, has recently been diagnosed and is bravely battling cancer.

To even type those words makes me extremely teary as when it hits so close to home and it's someone who has been such a big part of the NRL Cheerleading world for so long - it's incredibly sad to hear.

The Dragons Squad has gone above and beyond for their precious girl and when hearing all the touching stories and selfless acts of kindness they have done over the past few months in support of Natasha - it truly warms your heart. They really are a special group of women and along with their coach Lisa they are hoping to be able to raise some money to help Natasha and her family during this difficult time.

So together - TONIGHT - with a splash of Red and White we can all make a difference, "Cheer for Tash" and help this pretty pixie by attending a Fundraising Event in her honour! The details are below and yourselves, family, friends, friends of friends - everyone - is invited to come along and be a part of an incredible cause for an incredibly inspiring and brave soul.

I will be "Cheering for Tash" tonight and I hope you will too!!

Bali Dreaming....

Hello there pom pom darlings...

oh how ive missed you.... did you miss me? Surely at least a solid 6 out of 10 Miss Factor?? Come onnnn – own it you cheeky devils! Haha.

So the 2013 season is long gone and boy oh boy did it fly by in a flash! It’s always so sad when the fun has to come to an end each October and the off season begins. Im sure most would agree that if we could keep the good times rolling all year long – we would!

So my loves, I thought I would take the next few posts to share and invite you all into my Off Season Memories - both personal and seabird related - so far this year to work our way towards the 2014 season kick off... enjoy x

Memory #1: POST SEASON BALI BLISS...

This year post Grand Final (yeh lets not talk abou t the result of that - still a little touchy! ha!)  I jetted off to Bali with some of my family and friends for a 2 week escape to paradise. Seriously – it was the most delicious holiday i have had in a long long time and being away with your loved ones always makes for hilarious memory making moments! Well at least with my crazy lunatic family it does! Pass the pino colada!

The reason for our Bali escape was to help celebrate with our gorgeous family friends Lauren and Jason on their wedding day and to see them say “i do” in quite possibly the most magical place on earth. Lauren and Jace are two of Prudence’s life long best friends, we love them dearly and for our family it was like watching our adopted 5th sister tie the knot!

Set against the stunning Uluwatu cliff tops it was such a special and perfect day.... and did i mention how yummy the Bride looked?.... holy moly The Bride... The Dress.... absolutely breath taking and divine in every single way possible!!

But i guess deliciousness truly does shine from the inside out and Lauren is the sparkliest diamond you could find so there were no surprises when the tears started flowing watching her walk down the aisle to her dreamboat Jace!

As the sun set and the sky turned a paradise pink it was officially a fairytale day for a fairytale couple!

Lots of Love, Laughter and Fuzzy Feelings all round.... YOU KNOW.... ALL THE GOOD STUFF!!

x

Yep i did pre-warn you about the "dreamyness" factor!
