Broncos Big League Beauty...

Queensland times: Geoff Egan | 25th April 2012 5:14 AM

Is Dani the cheerleading queen?

SHE'S been dancing since she was four and now Danielle Svensson has found her dream job.

During home games, she takes to the Suncorp Stadium field before kick off as part of the Broncos cheerleading squad. In her first season with the cheerleaders, Danielle is already one of the Broncos representatives for Big League magazine's Cheerleader of the Year.
The job has also taken the 20-year-old to Vanuatu, thanks to a new sponsorship deal with one of the island's major resorts.Danielle, along with five other Broncos cheerleaders, was flown to the Breakas Resort Vanuatu to film commercials.
"It's been a great year so far," she said. "All the girls are really fun and the work is great. I've been dancing all my life so this is just great. "I only started cheerleading at the end of last year. This is my first full season.
"Hopefully I'll be doing it for a few years to come yet."
A lifelong Broncos fan, Brassall girl Danielle said she loved being able to represent the club.
"There are so many fans out there, it's good to be part of something that so many people love," she said. "I love rugby league. I grew up in a Broncos household so it's just amazing being part of their game days.
"It really doesn't feel like a job. I get to sit on the sideline and cheer the Broncos on every week."
Danielle, who outside her cheerleading is studying nutrition, spent the rugby league off-season cheering for the Gold Coast Blaze basketball team.
"It's really different cheering for the basketball. We're dancing all the time and indoors instead of on a field."
Danielle will appear in a future edition of the Big League magazine, along with the other Broncos cheerleader representative. From there the public will be able to vote for her as the NRL Cheerleader of the Year.
