Hogs Breath Cafe Maidens

The Newcastle Knights and Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce a new sponsorship with leading restaurant chain Hogs Breath Cafe.

Hogs Breath Cafe will become the proud sponsor of the Newcastle Knights Cheerleaders who in 2013 will be known as Hogs Breath Cafe Maidens wearing new blue, red and pink Hog's Breath Cafe uniforms. The Newcastle Jets Adrenalin Dance Initiative will also become the Hogs Breath Cafe Dance Crew for the 2013/14 A-League season.

As well as the Maidens and Dance Crew, Knights and Jets fans can look forward to welcoming the Hogs Breath Cafe mascot Hogster to Hunter Stadium this year to cheer on the teams.

"It is great for the Knights to secure another nationally recognised brand as sponsor and we are grateful to Hogs Breath Cafe for helping make our home matches fun and exciting for our Members," said Matt Gidley, Knights CEO.

Seabirds Singing Star...

If you weren't already aware - the Manly Seabirds have a serious case of "Sparkle" going on with one of its Seabirds. The lady i speak of is 2nd year veteran of the squad Chloe Papandrea. Not only is Chloe an incredibly intelligent, soulful and beautiful young lady but she has also been blessed with the voice of an angel.

Chloe has performed alongside a large number of music industry names and only last month she was one of the back up singers for Jessica Mauboy at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards. Listening to her sing always makes me smile like a chesire cat and last season we were all lucky enough to dance alongside her at Brookvale Oval while she performed "Crazy in Love" by Beyonce.  

One thing i really hope to be able to bring to life on my blog this year is the unique talents and achievements that lay hidden within the NRL squads. We should support each other and celebrate these achievements - big or small. So please contact me so i can showcase the variety of magic going on from squad to squad!

Make sure you have a listen to the cover of "Take You Down" that Chloe recorded with William Singe from the X Factors "The Collective". Its my absolute favourite and her voice is like yummy melted chocolate - the girl is a dreamboat!!

Angie comes home for a visit...

Manly Seabird turned Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Angela Nicotera, has returned home for a visit after finishing her second season in the NFL. The little fox will be here for 3 weeks soaking up the sun before she heads back over to audition for her 3rd year as a DCC. Yeehaaaaw!!

2013 Canberra Raiderettes

I have a feeling we are going to be seeing a lot of new looks and costumes for a number of teams this year. Loooves it!! The Canberra Raiderettes have unveiled a new look for the upcoming 2013 season too! The girls are again being sponsored by Perfume Box and have returned to a two piece costume. The Raiderettes always produce such unique and fun profile shots and this year does not disappoint.

New Costumes for a New Season!

Oh la la the Newcastle Knights have been extremely quick off the mark this year in recruiting their 2013 cheer squad and then getting their new profiles up on their website. Snaps all round! A touch more excitement was added too when i noticed the ladies are sporting new costumes for the 2013 season - i love this time of year when everyone has new things going on!

There are lots of fresh faces in this years team and i look forward to following what the girls from the Hunter get up to entertaining the crowds in Newcastle throughout the season!!

Fifi and Jules Show

We have had such exciting times at The Pom Pom Paparazzi over the past few weeks. Not only is it fabulous to be back blogging for a new year but it was even more faboosh to get a HUGE shout out on the Fifi and Jules radio show last week!!

If you missed it - The Pom Pom Paparazzi was a headlining story on the show as they discussed Jules' big cheerleading debut and how he had featured on our blog! I don't think ive squealed so much in my lifetime - my excitement levels were through the roof! It was so surreal to listen to Fifi chat about the blog and i couldn't wipe the smile off my face for days!! So lots of love goes out to The Fifi and Jules Show!!
