Happy Easter, Bunnies xx

The Easter Holiday weekend is by far one of my most favourite times of the year throughout the NRL season. It has such a fun filled family feel to it and seeing all the clubs get into the Easter Spirit in their own unique way is always a treat! Its a time where bunny ears prevail, chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner is a must and where family come together to celebrate new beginnings!

This year Brookvale Oval really turned it on and the Manly fans were not only treated to a Big Win over the Penrith Panthers but also to a special Easter Egg-stravaganza (sorry, i couldn't help myself haha)! The Manly Seabirds and Junior Seabirds had spent up to 8 weeks prior training and perfecting their routine for the Half Time performance that included a field full of 80 or so performers and plenty of high flying tricks & tumbles.

If you could peel your eyes off the cuteness overload that was the little ones hopping and bopping away - you would have noticed the costuming alone was something to be marvelled and ooohhh'd and ahhhh'd over! The Manly Seabirds Director, Monique Carroll, is one clever & talented lady indeed - she whipped up the incredible easter egg inspired spotted dresses and petticoats the Senior Girls wore! All her hard work choreographing, costuming and putting the final touches on the performance paid off and made for an exciting, colourful and high energy routine!!

The girls had been working so hard and were full of energy and lots of big smiles!

While the Premiership Trophy was at Brookvale the girls took the chance to capture some memories and recap last years Big Win!!
