Around the grounds...round 2

Oh round 2 was such an exciting round for myself and the Manly Seabirds - we were finally back at Brookie for our first home game for the 2013 season! To add to the excitement we had 3 rookies - Serena, Gabby & Demi - all making their debut in the maroon, white and silver aswell as had DCC Angela on the sidelines with us watching Manly defeat the Knights! Yeeehaaaww!

It was our very first Sunday night game and it was a freeeezing night at that - lucky we had plenty to dance about with the final score being 32 - 0!

We danced at both pre game and at half time and for me personally the pre game routine to Florida's "Let it roll" was pretty eventful! Ladies a word of advice - if you have an item of costume that could potentially come undone or loose - PIN IT! Holy moly - Brookie got more of a show than they expected when my entire belt came loose then unraveled completely from my shorts and left hanging by a loop hole!!

I keep having flashbacks of myself towards the end of the routine completely unaware of what my belt was doing and thinking i was absolutely on fire. I had even lined myself up a photographer's lens and was in the zone smiling, purring and trying to out fox myself with every move - ahhhhh Not so much!

I have to laugh as i had a conversation with my Director Monique on the sidelines seconds before we were about to start asking if everyone had pinned their belt as i hadn't?! We both kind of just looked at it and said - "Oh it will be fine".... Again....... Not so much!!
