2013 NRL Season Launch

Last night the NRL launched the 2013 season at The Star in Sydney with the gorgeous Jessica Mauboy frontlining the event. She is such a foxy cleopatra and her jumpy re-mix of the classic Etta James track "Something's Got a Hold On Me" is such an excitement builder everytime i see the NRL tv advert play!!

The new campaign, which features highlights from all the biggest names in the game showcases the talent and the league's links to grassroots football. Did i mention too that Manly Seabirds Chloe and Bre are featured as yummy little touch football beach babes?? Uh-huh!!

Here is a glimps at some behind the scenes images from the filming of the new NRL tv advert. Manly Seabirds Bre, Chloe, Shannon and Rachel all participated in the production and are featured playing touch football on the beach.

An evening with The Hoff...

If there is only one man who can capture the attention the world over with a single, shortened moniker that man is The Hoff. So on wednesday night at Lizotte's Dee Why the Manly Seabirds had the opportunity to perform as his "Hoffette's" in "An Evening With The 'Hoff" dancing to a number of his hits aswell as bringing his Baywatch days back to life! (Cue the red swimsuits and slow-motion beach running)

The Hoff's tour saw him visit Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle and Perth and a number of NRL cheer squads including the Melbourne Storm, Sydney Roosters, Newcastle Knights and Manly Sea Eagles were asked to take part in the tour. It was "Hoff The Charts" (sorry couldn't resist).

2013 auditions & pre season training...

Here are some images of a few of the NRL squads auditons as well as pre season training leading up to the 2013 season kick off! Like the players - the cheerleaders have to go through a tough pre season training regime also. At Manly it's the toughest time of the year and after every training session your body is screaming for a radox bath and your hamstrings are burning for days after! Lucky we love what we do - it makes all the pain worth it once your out on the field performing in front of all the passionate fans!
