Seabirds Fluff & Puff Party....

Over the weekend the Manly Seabirds spent the entire Saturday and Sunday in "Cheerleading Mode". Which is just how we like it. Saturday we spent the day being fitted for our Uniforms and various other sparkly and feathery creations we will be wearing during the season ahead. It was a moment for all Rookie Training Camp Seabirds to really treasure. It was the first time they got to try on the Manly Seabirds Uniform and the very first time they got to feel what all Veteran girls do when we shimmy into that delicious Maroon and White number during each Football Season - Pride, Excitement, Passion and a mixture of various other dynamite and glittery feelings.

So on Sunday we came together again for our annual “Fluff and Puff” party at Carroll Ranch. This has been an annual event for the Manly Seabirds for years now and it is one of the most helpful learning tools for all Seabirds new and old to prepare themselves for the upcoming season.

It is a fabulous day full of Makeup and Hair tutorials filled with tips and tricks shared between one another to ensure that each and every time we are representing the Manly Sea Eagles Brand we are presenting ourselves in the most lady like and most professional way possible. We were under the guidance of ex Manly Seabird Sarah Pascoe who cheerlead at Manly for 10 seasons and who is and was the queen of Hair and Makeup during her time with our Manly Family. Girlfriend is not only the bee’s knee’s at all things Seabird presentation wise but she is also the bee’s knee’s at being just an all round incredible human! Yes, yes she is!

Monique Carroll yet again went above and beyond to set the scene for the day in the most spectacular way possible with so many gorgeous special touches everywhere you looked. The most adorable and surprising moment of the day was a hidden gift we all received and had to open together at the end of the party..... A Fortune Cookie.

Inside this little treat was the most beautiful surprise of all – a unique little message for each girl letting them know they had now officially made the team and were now a member of the 2014 Manly Seabird Squad!

It was the first moment that our 7 new honey bears - Ainsley, Kirsty, Tiana, Lauren, Maddie, Melissa and Cheri - could really celebrate and relax knowing that all their hard work in training camp had paid off and they were now officially Manly Seabirds.
